From underfunded schools that scrounge for funds for copy paper to the highest poverty and obesity rates among big cities in the US, Philly faces some dire challenges in confronting education and food injustices. Repair the World: Philadelphia partners with local and community-based organizations like the West Philadelphia Alliance for Children and Broad Street Ministry as it seeks to build a kinder and more equitable city. On this episode we sit down with two Repair the World Philadelphia fellows Jamie Fox and Addye Susnick to find out how every individual in Philadelphia can do their part to transform the city.
