Kamara Abdur-Rahim was born in West Philadelphia and has been a part of the African Cultural Art Forum since birth. Her father and Uncle started the organization and it has been serving the community since 1969. The  African Cultural Art Forum is a community based manufacturing business striving to create more jobs and provide an education for Philadelphia youth through their on-the-job training programs.
