Philadelphia is a world hub for art. We are home to the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Magic Gardens, and lesser known places like Graffiti Pier. Philadelphia is an art enthusiasts dream. For our first interview of the podcast we sat down with Kristin Groenveld, Executive Director of the non-profit organization Art Sphere Inc. My students and I volunteered for Kristin to help her decorate and set up for their 20th anniversary event. During our interview we touched on several issues including, the impact art has on Philadelphia, the direction we see Philadelphia moving culturally, and advice for our teenage selves.
